Bourgeois apartment for rent Beziers South France - facilities
This spacious two-bedroom apartment is situated on the third floor of an impressive Haussmann-inspired bourgeois building, within a residential neighbourhood approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Béziers.
Ground floor
- There is an impressive communal entrance to the apartment, with large wrought-iron doors, an ornate ceiling and stone walls and marble flooring.
- A sweeping stone staircase with decorative iron balustrades leads to the upper floors.
Third floor
- The apartment has retained its original secure metal entrance gate. The front door opens into a long central hallway providing access to the principal rooms. There are radiators in all the rooms.
- The spacious living room is filled with natural light and has room for separate seating and dining areas. French doors open onto the front balcony, which has views over the surrounding neighbourhood.
- The living room is currently unfurnished. An AI-staged photograph has been included to illustrate how the room will look with furniture.
- The large fitted kitchen has a large fridge-freezer, built-in oven, four-ring gas hob, extractor hood and electric kettle. The kitchen has a table and chairs and additional storage space. A French window opens onto the rear balcony.
- Bedroom 1 is a good-sized room and comes with fitted wardrobes and a double bed.
- Bedroom 2 is also fitted with a double bed and storage cupboards.
- The bathroom is fitted with a bath and overhead shower and a sleek modern wash basin.
- There is a separate WC located off the hallway.
Outside
- The apartment benefits from two balconies on opposite sides of the building. The front balcony has an ornate wrought-iron railing and views across the street and neighbouring buildings. The quieter rear balcony overlooks the courtyard and has space for a small bistro table and chairs. The two different aspects make it possible to enjoy either sunshine or shade at different times of the day.
- The apartment doesn't come with a parking space. However, there is street parking and car parks in the neighbourhood.

The apartment is available for rentals of 3 months to 12 months (although full 12 month rental periods are preferred). The prices quoted are based on a 12 month rental period. Higher prices may apply to shorter rental periods. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €200 towards the electricity, central heating, water and Wi-Fi. Due to the location of the apartment on the 3rd floor, it is probably not best-suited to pets.

Bourgeois apartment for rent Beziers South France - our opinion
Last visited: August 2026. Beziers is a great location for a long term rental in France. It has excellent transport connections, with a local airport, TGV train station and 2 motorways passing close-by. The Mediterranean beaches are just 10 km away and the city is surrounded by vineyards in all directions. Inside the apartment is spacious, with 2 generous bedrooms, a large kitchen and a good-sized living room. The 2 balconies allow you to either capture some sunshine or enjoy some welcome shade. The apartment building is situated within a residential area, just 10 minutes walk to the centre of Beziers.
Please note that the apartment is on the third floor and there is not an elevator. The lounge in the apartment is currently not furnished. We have used AI Imagery to represent what the lounge will look like with furniture. The Owner will be installing a sofa, armchair and coffee table, as well as a dining table and chairs.

Area activities
There is so much to do in Beziers, from strolling along the beautiful alleyways of the Old Town and shopping in the small shops or visiting one of the many restaurants, go to the theater or visit Friday´s flower market or Saturday´s antique market. During the summer, the city is buzzing with activities with various festivals and music events.
The Mediterranean coast is a short drive or bus journey away and offers fantastic beaches, ranging from wild beaches in Serignan and Vendres to chic promenades in Grau d´Agde and Valras plage.
Beziers, is the capital of the World´s largest wine regions and most of the local wineries are open to visitors and you can try their wines. A tour of the region´s villages is also recommended.
Pezenas which is a fantastic little town with a rich cultural life inspired by Moliere, has a large market every Saturday and a food & wine festival every Friday night during July and August. Pezenas has over 60 antique shops and over 30 restaurants.
Agde is one of France´s oldest cities and lies at the river Herault´s outflow. The town has some nice restaurants and beautiful beaches. Cap Agde has the Mediterranean´s largest marina and there is plenty of activities from water sports to amusement parks and an excellent golf course.
Other transport
There is a fast TGV train from Paris direct to Beziers, that takes about 4 hours.
Airports
Beziers airport is very easy to get to, direct flights with Ryanair from Bristol, Edinburgh, London Luton, Stansted, Manchester and Stockholm (Skavsta).
Montpellier Airport is 35 kilometers away and has several routes to Sweden and Copenhagen with Norwegian Air and to the UK with Easyjet (Bristol, Gatwick and Luton).
Driving directions
Beziers is well connected to the local motorway network, with both the A75 and A9 motorways joining just west of the town.
