The house is located in a quite pedestrian street in the historic heart of the village. The house is laid out over 3 floors
Ground floor
There is a large open plan living room containing the kitchen, dining area and lounge.
- The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, washing machine, microwave, combi-oven, hob, dishwasher, kettle and coffee machine. There are plenty of cooking utensils, cutlery, plates and glasses.
- The lounge has a comfortable sofa and leather arm chair.
- The dining area can seat 4 people.
- There is a guest WC on this floor.
First floor
- There is a large open plan bedroom. The bedroom is fitted with a double bed and large wardrobe and chest of drawers.
- There is a small work station with desk and fibre internet.
- The bathroom comes with a shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.
- Stairs lead up to the second floor and roof terrace.
Second floor
- There is a small landing, which is an ideal area for reading a book and enjoying the sunshine stream through the large patio windows
- The roof terrace is a good size and comes with a barbecue, deck chair and seating. The terrace provides lovely views over the surrounding vineyards and countryside.

The house is available for long term rentals between September to June. The minimum stay is 3 months. Pets may be accepted through prior agreement of the Owner (limited to one small dog/one cat). In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €175 paid towards the electricity, water, Wi-Fi and local taxes.

Last visited: August 2026. This charming house in Nezignan l'Eveque is the perfect base for a couple or single person, looking to rent in South France for several months. Nezignan l'Eveque is one of the prettiest villages in South France and conveniently located close to the Mediterranean coast and the historic market town of Pezenas. The village is close to two TGV train stations, 2 motorways and Beziers airport is just down the road.

Nezignan l'Eveque is just 5 minutes from Pezenas, 15 minutes from the beach at Agde and 20 minutes from Marseillan. The village is famous for figs, and there are several excellent wines from the village. The village has a good range of shops including a baker, newsagent, grocer, post office, tourist office, hairdresser, bar, an excellent pizzeria, a good standard hotel/restaurant and a medical centre. Nezignan l'Eveque holds a Music and Wine Festival every July. Other celebrations include Fete L'Ete (June), Bastille (July), Fete Local (July) and Fete des Vendanges (October).
The surrounding area is a wine lover's paradise with a multitude of local vineyards providing some excellent wines.
A 5 minute drive away is the lively medieval town of Pezenas, once the home of the famous French playwright, Moliere. Pezenas is a very popular local town, with its period architecture and great choice of restaurants, pavement cafes, art galleries, museums, boutiques and a super Saturday market.
The Canal du Midi, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESO is 15 minutes away. The canal is ideal for hiring barges, cycling or walking along the towpath.
Set in beautiful scenery 12 minutes towards Beziers is Saint-Thomas golf course which offers 18-holes for all levels throughout the year.
There is superb walking available in the Montagnes Noires, there is also Lac Salagou for wonderful freshwater lake swimming and water sports.
Close by are the cities of Beziers (15mins), Montpellier (50mins), Carcassonne (60mins) and Nimes (90mins). Further afield are Provence, Andorra and Barcelona.

There is a good local bus service between Nezignan l'Eveque nd Pezenas and also to the TGV train station at Agde.
